Pascale Aurignac è un'artista, disegnatrice e pittrice francese nata nel 1963. Attualmente vive nel suo studio a Montaigu (Giura, Francia).
La pittura e il disegno (con matita o polvere di grafite) sono stati la base della sua pratica artistica. Sempre curiosa dei materiali, della loro associazione e risonanza, ha poi esplorato altre tecniche, come il collage, il cucito su carta, le stampe, il monotipo, il rilievo, l'inserimento di fotografie, l'incisione su zinco. Pascale Aurignac è sempre alla ricerca di scoperte tecniche perché le offrono nuove possibilità di creazione. A volte la tecnica induce la creazione, a volte la creazione richiede una nuova tecnica.
In questi ultimi anni la sua ricerca è orientata sulla correlazione tra il materiale/mezzi e il supporto o la sua assenza, la risonanza tra le superfici realizzate plasticamente e quelle lasciate bianche in suggestivo legame con la natura e il suo sguardo sul mondo. Lavora principalmente senza supporto di carta, con una tecnica che consiste nel versare più strati di pittura uno sopra l'altro, fino a venti, sui quali lascia correre la sua immaginazione, il più delle volte ispirata dalla natura.
