C’est un principe de vie, je récupère ce qui est trop souvent jeté ou mis au rebut :
Ainsi dans mon travail, on trouvera certes du bois mais aussi du plomb, du cuivre étamé, de l’aluminium, du zinc, de la chaîne, du grillage, du fil de cuivre provenant de l’industrie, ainsi que du polystyrène d’emballage et de la bouteille plastique ;
Ce que je ne trouve pas, je vais le chercher en brocante dans une idée constante de réutilisation ;
Je découpe, je taille à même le métal, je le tords, je le superpose, je le souligne avec de la couleur pour lui donner la forme d’un visage ou d’un corps ; j’assemble ma création sur du bois avec du grillage, du fil de cuivre que je travaille lui aussi ; j’y ajoute parfois du plastique ;
Ce que j’aime particulièrement dans la sculpture c’est le travail de la matière, le plaisir sensuel d’utiliser mes mains pour concevoir une œuvre :
Chaque pièce entreprise est évolutive. Je peux reprendre une œuvre 2 ou 3 ans plus tard
