DIDIER FRANCO
Pintor y dibujante nacido en Medellín, Antioquia – Colombia, en 1974. Se licenció en artes plásticas en la Escuela Popular de Arte - E.P.A. – (actualmente I.T.M.) entre 1996 y 2002. Desde el comienzo su trabajo ha sido figurativo con una fuerte influencia del expresionismo y el fauvismo.
Desde finales del noventa viene hablándonos de una ciudad viva, móvil, incluso caótica a través del estímulo que proporciona la arquitectura, la cultura, la cotidianidad y la vida de cada una de sus casas y de sus calles, mostrándonos lo dinámico que pueden llegar a ser cada una de nuestras ciudades.
Franco habita su ciudad conociéndola, viviéndola, sufriéndola y, sobre todo, amándola.
Su obra ha participado en varias exposiciones nacionales e internacionales. Actualmente vive y trabaja en su ciudad natal: Medellín.
