On the occasion of “Art Basel Miami 2015”, from December 3rd-6th, UHMA SPA invites you to discover the inspired work of Sandra Encaoua, a successful French artist whose work won her the 2013 “French Young Talents Award” and, impressively enough, the “Today’s Art Talent Award” given by the Research Center in Art and Patrimoine Preservation the same year. Moreover, her pieces have been quoted in Drouot, a prestigious hub for the French and international art markets, since 2012. She will be visiting our urban sanctuary to share and explain her truly unique work, which is divided into 3 series: EARTH’s MEMORY, PEOPLE and JUDAICA.

UHMA SPA is Miami Beach’s only Organic Spa, designed with natural raw yet peaceful elements like bamboo walls, real live plants and natural earthy materials. It was the perfect place for Sandra to unleash the violent, unsettled and free world of her drawings and paintings by contrast. She will introduce and explain her pieces at the opening, inviting you to dive into her realm.

The originality of this initiative relies on the idea that art is pure passion and universality, and as such it should be accessible for everyone, everywhere, without having to go to an official gallery. Should you choose to come join us on the adventure, you will be welcomed by a cocktail party for the opening on I Dec I 3 I 7pm.
