About this artwork: This painting is one of the Inner Life series which depict different aspects of inner life. This painting contains an optimistic sense of how life contains joy and light within. It was inspired by the music of Mozart. The artist employs the whirling technique to produce the image. He created this new style of oil painting by adapting the forms of traditional Turkish marbling, which is a water based technique to imprint designs onto paper. The result generates a similar visual effect to marbling although the technique is entirely different.
