About this artwork: This painting is one of the Beautiful Seeds of Destruction series. It depicts the dangerous beauty of disease and its effect on the human host. This art work expresses concern about the disease of mind that leads mankind to use nature in a destructive way. The artist employs the whirling technique to produce the image. He created this new style of oil painting by adapting the forms of traditional Turkish marbling, which is a water based technique to imprint designs onto paper. The result generates a similar visual effect to marbling although the technique is entirely different.
