About this artwork: This art work is one of the Endless Expression Series. The image poses the puzzling question about how difficult it can be to know what goes on in other people’s minds. In this work the artist is experimenting with his whirling technique to develop large faces in profile. He created this new style of oil painting by adapting the forms of traditional Turkish marbling, which is a water based technique to imprint designs onto paper. The result generates a similar visual effect to marbling although the technique is entirely different.
