About Floor cloths
All floor cloths are done on eighteen ounce cotton canvas. They have sewn hems with mitered corners so they will lie flat. They are painted with latex paint and sealed with polyurethane. After the design element has been created, four coats of sealer are applied to preserve it.
Care instructions (included with each purchase)
Floor cloths are easy to clean. Mild soap and water and a soft cloth or sponge will clean a lightly soiled surface. Floor cloths should be used on tile, hardwood, or linoleum surfaces. They should never be placed over existing carpet.
If you store your floor cloth for the season, it should be loosely rolled, painted side out. When installing your rolled floor cloth, allow it to warm up to room temperature before unrolling, to prevent cracking. Your floor cloth should be installed with adhesive mounting squares in each corner to prevent slipping if it is not being used under a piece of furniture. You may also use a rug pad sized to the inside hem.
Kid and Pat Friendly
Smaller sized floor cloths have found a home beneath pet feeding dishes. They can easily withstand water and food splatters and may be customized with your pet's name.
