Biography
After 2 years of studies at the fine arts school in Grenoble, drawing, earth modeling, stone cutting, I found my way with steel sculpture
This material allows me to express a lightness of line that I did not find with stone
My sculptures seek the essence of gesture, of movement
They can be placed between figurative "unbridled" and abstract
My favorite themes are bodies. In the animal field I have a preference for the horse where I seek to express the strength, dynamics and suffering of the animal in the effort
I also work with iron wire, compressions on brass and copper
Always looking for an evolution, I am also focusing on a new technique and a new material "welded bronze"

PARCOURS
Après 2 années d'études aux beaux-arts de grenoble ,dessin,modelage de la terre,de la taille de la pierre,je trouve ma voie avec la sculpture sur acier
Ce matériau me permet d'exprimer une légèreté de ligne que je ne trouvais pas avec la pierre
Mes sculptures recherches l'essentiel du geste,du mouvement
On peut les situer entre figuratif "débridé"et abstrait
Mes thèmes favoris vont vers les corps.Dans le domaine animalier j'ai une préférence pour le cheval ou je recherche a exprimer la force la dynamique la souffrance de l'animal dans l'effort
Je travail également le fil de fer,les compressions sur laiton et cuivre
Toujours a la recherche d'une évolution je m'oriente également sur une nouvelle technique et un nouveau matériau "le bronze soudé"
