Sergey Dergun is a contemporary Russian painter. His abstract art employs op-art techniques to produce the effect of recesses, holes, and space. While in his still life paintings, he seeks to portray the beauty and mystique of life while evoking a sense of a fairy tale.
Sergey Dergun was born in 1951, in Russia, where he graduated at The Faculty of Art and Graphics of Kuban State University. He exhibited his paintings nationally, as well as internationally in France, Germany and in the Czech Republic.
