Painted on canvas with oil and cement. Mis 60xh80p4cm Donatella Marraoni began her magnificent journey into art in '95 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia, graduating with honors in '98. In the same year he moves to England where he will live for 5 years. Thus he began to exhibit in Italy and abroad in prestigious private galleries and public venues, immediately obtaining important acknowledgments and the approval of specialized critics. In March 2014 he obtained a recognition from the Director of the Selenograd Gallery in Russia and began to exhibit and sell his works all over the world. In his paintings the woman is the central subject: protagonist in scenes of love, expectation, passion, pain, abandonment, desire, perversion. Donatella defines her works born from chaos, from confusion: characterized by strong, fast, unfinished, scratchy lines. The artist wishes to arouse emotions, narrate situations and life stories using extremely varied means of communication such as oil, china, pigments, glass, cement and coffee. Her "women" speak of love and of men ... first of all her father who at the time enrolled her at the Academy and who now, although he is no longer there, fully participates in her creations being her memory imprinted on the canvas through the use of cement. His father ... a bricklayer, a man ... the first who understood, his first true supporter. The works "coffee letters" are dedicated to him, where the artist tells about himself and intimately opens up to him. His first exhibition dates back to 1997 and since then there have been numerous solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums in Italy and abroad.
