* Comecei a pintar profissionalmente na década de 80 com uma forte influência da rica arquitetura, dos folguedos e da vegetação de Olinda.
Nos primeiros traços e pinceladas surgiram paisagens, igrejas, janelas, portas, e seus casarios exuberantes!
A fauna e a flora também estão presentes no meu trabalho. À medida que o tempo foi passando as leituras dos motivos e cores do cenário de Olinda, me emprestavam grande favor! A rica cultura, arquitetônica e natural da cidade traçou definitivamente a vocação que tenho e com isso o amadurecimento do meu trabalho.

Do figurativo ao abstrato!
Passei a elaborar obras abstraindo as formas concretas de um figurativo lírico que foi por muito tempo a minha base, usando matérias primas variadas como papel, tecido, vidro, madeira entre outros. Tive a felicidade de descobrir novas possibilidades com as experimentações que fiz, foi muito importante essa busca de conhecimentos, bem aplicadas. Hoje, vejo o resultado da minha pintura.
Com uma idéia na cabeça, lápis e papel na mão desenvolvo paralelamente desenhos para estampas em camisas com motivos ligados ao meio ambiente (Ecological abstract), que vem sendo há um bom tempo, a minha bandeira maior. Imprimindo e incentivando a preservação da natureza numa linguagem fácil e coerente.
A pintura é como o infinito e a arte é como o universo nas mãos!

The fauna and the flora can also be found in my productions. Nowadays you can see the colors of Olinda's scenario in my paintings! I paint my city's culture, architecture and what is really natural.
By doing that, I know exactly what I want to show and I got the experiences I express now.

From the figurative to the abstract!
I started creating paintings, abstracting from the concrete forms, the lyric figurative which was for so long time my base. I've been using a wide range of materials such as paper, clothing, glass, wood and others. Fortunately I found out news possibilities with some experiments that I made. Looking for new knowledge was really important because the way I've used it's been giving me nice results on my work.
With the idea on my mind, pencil and paper on my hands, I've been developing parallel drawings to print on t-shirts concerning the environment (Ecological abstract - my trademark), most of the time it's been my biggest flag.
Printing and stimulating the preservation of the nature by using an easy and coherent language.
The painting is as the infinite and the art is as the Universe in the hands!
