Suite à l'exposition qu'elle a faite à Albon (Drôme) en juin 2013  sur le thème "mes amis les arbres", Claudy vient de réaliser

un livre où figurent les photos des acryliques exposés.

"Mes amis les arbres" c'est aussi le titre  de cet ouvrage dans lequelon découvrira non seulement les acryliques de l'exposition mais aussi d'autres peintures (aquarelles et acryliques) qui traitent des arbres à sa façon.

Rather than establishing plans, sketches, drawings , I use to express my visual memory directly on the canvas my emotions : happy , sad, shocking, alarming ...
As she archive what touched me the most , I think memory is the genesis of things , time perception , internal and individual time, a way of perceiving time and space, a speech with so- Similarly, a personal library in which we will draw upon to solve its problems .
It can heal , become ill or sustain an action.
Means that I use:
1 - deletions : the passing of time
2 - selection: the captured image takes us to the temporality. It becomes palpable
3 - Fragmentation : It is used to communicate the feel of things . It involves emotional , poetry , aesthetics
4 - The blur : it queries and allows searching in itself answers
5 - Matter : It increases the sensations and in resonance with our own bodies.

Self-taught painter, Claudy painted from an early age.

After several training sessions, she exhibited for the first time at the Salon d'Automne in Privas (Ardèche) in 1964

Became a professional painter in 2002, she divides her time between teaching Visual Arts in various schools and cultural associations of the Drôme and the Ardèche, the pursuit of his personal research in acrylic and watercolor.

She exhibited her works a hundred times including 20 solo exhibitions among others in Valence, Toulon, Aix-en-Provence, Hauterives, in Germany in 1980,  in Paris (1990,2010,2011), Switzerland (2009) Belgium (2015) and regularly receives in his workshop in the Drôme all those interested in its approach.
