Carla Battaglia vive a Reggio Emilia.Sebbene abbia studiato e lavorato in istituzioni non artistiche, non ha mai smessodi coltivare la sua passione per l'arte e soprattutto la pittura.

E' sempre stata attratta soprattutto dal colore,in tutte le sue sfumature,fonte di forti emozioni per lei.

Si e' perfezionata nell'acrilico alla Kunstskhojlen di Holbeck, in Danimarca, frequentando per diversi anni,i Corsi estivi Internazionali di pittura tenuti da affermati artisti europei.

Nel 2006 inizia la sua carriera espositiva con una personale a Reggio, poi partecipa a concorsi e mostre in Italia: Bologna,Modena,Barletta,Milano,Lodi,Pisa,Adria,Albarella,Udine,Genova,Venezia,Roma,Firenze,Trieste.Piacenza,Cremona(personale)ARTEFIERA di Padova,Arezzo,Reggio Emilia,Verona,Parma.-,Artshopping diParigi.Estero:Parigi,Miami(Florida),NewYork,Montecarlo,Konstanz(Germania),San Pietroburgo,Madrid,San Sebastian(Spagna),Koping (Svezia), St.Tropez,Innsbruck e Barcellona.

Nonostante si tratti di una tecnica che si avvale di sovrapposizioni materiche ,la pittura di Carla Battaglia raggiunge effetti straordinariamente impalpabili.
