Title: Josephine Baker - Princess Tam Tam
Description: Art Deco and Jazz Music has had a strong influence on my work and this little video conjurs up some of that freedom of spirit energy that I felt fo this era. For me the essence of Art Deco is also what the surrealists where searching for, the fusing of the opposites. This classic art deco film sequence perfectly illustrates this idea with its combination of the elegance and refinement of high society fusing with the profoundness of tribal and unconscious influences. I further elaborate this idea in the section on Art Deco under Biography.

Title: Northern Cree Singers (native American°
Description: This video just knocks me out. I love the power of this song and the women singers harmony. It must be so exhilarating to sing with such force. I put this video on because it illustrates the kind of power and expression of freedom of spirit that I love to tap into in my art.

Title: Moroccan Dance
Description: My experience of traveling in Morocco as a nine year old had a profound and lasting influence on my art. For me there was a sense of mystery, refined culture and sacredness which intrigued me. Later as an adult I worked as sound assistant on the German made film; "Tangiers, the Legend of a Town" and we filmed some fabulous traditional musicians and dancers.

Title: Kuna Indians, San Blas, Panama
Description: I went to the border area between Colombia and Panama and came into contact with the Kuna Indians. Their peaceful and wise presence and beautiful clothing designs had a strong impact on me which never ceases to emerge in my own creativity. I love the softness evident in this dance and accompanying music.

Title: Abraham-Hicks (with funky music)
Description: (you may want to skip the introduction and go straight to the music video) I put this video on because I find the teachings of Abraham very uplifting. The celebration of life's energy, vibrancy, eternal transformation and movement is a fundamental aspect of my creativity, artistic output and personal philosophy.

Title: Native American Dancing
Description: I love the energy, colour and the sense of freedom of spirit exhibited in these dances. I strongly identify with this kind of energy which I celebrate through my work. The sound is quite loud so it may need turning down a little, depending on your taste.
