Hello, Geia sas,
I was very surprised to find on internet your research on the sphinx of Chios.
Since a year i am living on the island of Homeros and am occupied with artistical research on some typical chiotian themes and symbols. At this time i am exteriorisating experiences and research collected in Augonyma where i stayed and worked about four months last year (2007); i built up again my think thank and artistic balcony now in
Karfa- Plaka Thymiana. I am recapitulizing the colourtheory of the ancient greeks and the sphinx will be my
signifiant/Signifier and Support (semiotical terminology).
I studied Archeology and History of Arts, Philosophy and Semiotics at the Catholique University of Leuven (Belgium) and worked 26 years as Professor Philosophy of Arts, Aesthetics and Semiotics at the Catholique Highschool Limburg department Audiovisual and Plastique Arts and Industrial Design (New Media Academy) university level-
I just am glad to find not to stand as a Robinson on this island!
