• The eyes reconstruct, or deduct, the shapes of the entire form but they do not do so evenly since they are spread apart.Nor do they percieve consistently from one occasion, one moment, to the next, because they move continually.Therefore since a single painting is the creation of thousand of these perceptions accumulating over time,it is bound to reflect their discontinuities as well as their consistencies.With this in mind we can also say that observable reality could also be an illusion or a confidence trick.My personal goal is to invent visual languages beyond seeing,to capture the essence of movement,expose misconception and root out the fundamentals of sensory truth.Colours and tones to me are the essence of painting as pitch and rhythm are to music.I believe that colour is highly subjective but has observable psychological effects.Rhythm which I very often created through the use of lines in my paintings is like a sequence which allows for creative force to interverne and add new creations.I exploit the elements of design such as lines,colours,tones texture and use them in various ways to produce sensations of volume,space,movement abd light.The absolute creative freedom helps me to invent my own visual language and to forever experiment with new forms and unconventional materials and techniques [..] >> Read More |
