Title: "Hirnlael"
Dimensions: Installment of three canvases 24 inches by 48 inches
Style: Traditional Back Stapled Piece on Cotton
Description: The Angel Hirnlael, according to Angelic Lore, was the first Angel to be lost during the Great War in Heaven. The Angel was created to be a mediator between both sides of the conflict; an establisher of peace during conflict and reacher of resolution. However, despite it's power to be level headed, charming and logical neither side would truly listen. Hirlael was not killed, the Angel simply left from existance, faded away.
The moral here is that sometimes there is no use in being a bridge between parties that have no interest. The cost of such futility is the envitable exhaustion and loss of one's own self. The Angel is a reminder to thine own self be true. Blueberry, Olive, Beet, Henna Pitch, Salt and Platycodon were some of the natural elements used in the production of this piece. |
