THIS PIECE IS CURRENTLY IN THE FIRST FRIDAY SHOW AT THE ROMAINE BROOKS GALLERY JUNE 6th from 5pm to 9pm, 332 Hudson Avenue in ALBANY NY
What makes the item so interesting is that the painter uses natural inks, stains and dyes made from plants, leaves, barks, even fruits that he makes himself to add in creating each piece of wall art. This specific item has coffee, henna, cinnabark, and chocolate to name a few. There is even a special process to protect the living parts of the piece to not foil the intense color and unique staining.
What makes a person who seems happy enough and functional enough simply disappear one day. Based on a very true life experience and named during a private viewing this piece leaves an imprint on it's viewer. Made from four seperate nine by nine inch pine framed cotton canvases, a subtle dramatic concetrate of introspective emotion fills each brush stroke. As outlined in the artist's blog, if the viewer can find each one there are over a dozen seperate faces in the work.
Larger photographs of the piece are available upon request. Shipping costs are relevant to location. Upon final purchase the buyer agrees to an industry standard authenticity form and buyer's agreement.
