What makes the item so interesting is that the painter uses natural inks, stains and dyes made from plants, leaves, barks, even fruits that he makes himself to add in creating each piece of wall art. This specific item has coffee, henna, cinnabark, and chocolate to name a few. There is even a special process to protect the living parts of the piece to not foil the intense color and unique staining.
There are times when the history between two people causes a deep separation. This is the theme lining the work titled "Past that Comes Between Us". Brilliant colors stream the canvas in a myriad of textures allowing the viewer to gaze past the two leading figures. In the background is a red rivulet of faces, over forty in all, marking the past like chapters in a story.
