There is both Magritte and Vasarely in Enrique Etievan: from the first, Belgian surrealist, he retains a vision of the world that is sometimes absurd but often soft and poetic. Like this 17th century hotel, straight out of the Place des Vosges, which is built on a rock just enough to accommodate it in the middle of the ocean. Or this jar of peppers in weightlessness in the Parisian sky.
